The 4th National Hoarding and Squalor Conference is being held on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 June 2016 at Rydges World Square, 389 Pitt Street Sydney.
The purpose of the Conference is to further highlight the impact of hoarding and squalor on individuals, families and communities, and to continue to raise awareness and emphasise the need for a multi-disciplinary approach to hoarding and squalor.
The conference will aim to develop a national approach to service response delivery through collaboration and raising the ongoing awareness and education of hoarding and squalor issues.
The broad issues which will be covered throughout the two days of the conference are:
• Ethics and media
• Funding for services
• Improving collaboration
• Law reform
• Principles & practicalities of intervention
• Research agenda
• Workforce and professional development
• Other current issues that may come out of the abstract submission process.
