Illawarra Shoalhaven Partners in Recovery (ISPIR) in conjunction with a number of partner organisations is running some unique programs over the next few months to improve the lives of people with a mental illness living in the region.
‘Keys 2 Renting’ forms part of a series called: ‘Keys for Recovery.’
ISPIR Team Leader Jenny Valdivia says this workshop is ideal for people with a lived experience of mental illness who are thinking about renting:
“It will offer tools for finding and keeping a place to rent,” said Jenny.
“This workshop will also look at the rights and responsibilities of tenants and is being delivered in partnership with Southern Cross Housing,” added Jenny.
‘Keys 2 Renting’ will run every Friday from March 24 until April 7, 2017, 9:30am until 2:30pm.
It will be held at the Dunn Lewis Centre, 141 St Vincent Street, Ulladulla.
There is no cost to participate but registering before March 17 is essential.
