NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
A family and community fun day will be held at Bakers Lane, Windang (The Land) from 10am to 3pm on Friday 10 July.
There will be:
• Children’s rides
• Free BBQ
• Information stalls and Activities
• Talent Show
• Live Performances
• Illawarra Koori Cook Off
• Immunisations (Flu Shot 18+)
Limited transport to and from the event will be provided by Community Transport.
