As part of a rural suicide prevention project, a free 3 hour education program is being held which focuses on health and well-being and suicide prevention. The program gives participants the skills that they need to recognise when someone may be doing it tough, how to converse with that person and where and how to get that person to help. The event is open to any professional who has farming clients as they are likely to interact with farmers in tough times and are therefore very well positioned to recognise problems that people may be facing and to converse with them about it.
The event will be held on 11 March at Bomaderry. Check out the flyer for further information or to register.
